BYU's Jumpstart Program
A Quick Introduction to Beginning the BYU Experience

There are few events as invigorating—or maybe as overwhelming—as starting college. BYU's Jumpstart program is here to help!

Jumpstart is a series of recorded tutorials to orient new students on information they need prior to arrival at BYU. There are four types of Jumpstart sessions:

  1. Welcome: Dates and Deadlines
  2. Class Registration
  3. Technology Essentials
  4. Financial Planning

Jumpstart is intended for new students admitted for both summer and fall semesters.

In an effort to more effectively provide students with the information they need to know before arriving, Jumpstart Presentations will no longer be presented in Utah County High Schools. Instead, all Utah County admits are invited to attend an On-Campus Night: Jumpstart Welcome Presentation! This presentation will take place on Thursday, March 23rd at 6:00 PM, in room 2107 of the Jesse Knight Building.

For those who cannot attend on March 23rd, all of the Jumpstart Presentations will be available to view online starting Friday, March 24th. Please visit our Jumpstart site to learn more!
